SNAILWAR360*
BY: ANISH PATEL
Once upon a time there lived a family of snails and their family name was 360*. It was 360* because there was 360* snails at the base where they prepared for the war of 2020. They were going to war with the crayfish 360* and that was going to be tough because the war was in the water. Luckily the snails were aquatic snails but, some crayfish blend into the water environment. They were preparing with machine guns, bazookas, knives, swords, pocket knives, and they were making a HUGE submarine. The crayfish had a very happy expression because they thought the war war was favoring them. They thought that because they had claws that could kill the snails. That was not what the snails thought because the snails were hard workers unlike the crayfish. All the crayfish just sat under a rock all day doing nothing but eating, sleeping, and playing board games. I think the crayfish already had that mindset because the crayfish and the snails were tied with how many wars each team had won. This war was the last one and whoever won it got 1,000,000 dollars and 10 acres of land. The snails were planning a sneak attack at midnight. They were planning to hit the crayfish from high to low and low to high. At night all is safe and sound and then… BOOM! The snails powered right through the crayfish’s barrier top and bottom just like they planned. From bottom to top there were snails and they just started stabbing and shooting every crayfish they could find. The submarine wasn’t prepared for battle so some snails stayed at the base working on it. Still the snails had a great first attack with the crayfish because they were helpless with no weapons ready. When the snails got back to their base they celebrated for 30 minutes but, then the snails got right back to work. On the other side the crayfish knew the war had started and it was time. It was now time for the crayfish to evaluate the situation and it was their turn to fight back. As the crayfish planned the snails were making the final touches on their submarine. Both the animals met at the battlefield in the crayfish territory to start off. The snails still had the advantage because they had many substitutions left. On the other hand many of the crayfish had died from the snails sneak attack. There were only 265* crayfish left!!! As they got closer and closer they got their weapons out. Then there was a slicing sound, one of the snails attacked and the war was truly on. You could only hear the sound of weapons or death. Constantly someone died and all you could do was watch. Suddenly one of the snails had came upon a superscript and he opened it. It said get to the submarine alone. That is exactly what he did and the grandfather snail was there. It was time for the submarine missiles to be shot. This is what the grandfather snails said “distribute them from high to low.” The snails got ready to fire and then boom! They hit so many crayfish that the number of crayfish left was simplified to one. Now the snails had to terminate that one last crayfish and that is what they did. The snails then lived happily ever after.
