Grasshoppina

Once upon a time there was a praying mantis named Grasshoppina .Grasshoppina lived in a base{her home}.With her 2 stepsisters Praying and Mantis, her step mother Mrs.Prantis, and her father Mr.Prantis. Mr.Prantis was very sick and was very soon going to die. Grasshoppina was very very sad because she loved her father very much and didn't like the rest of the family. Soon after a month  Mr.Prantis dies.

Now Mrs.Prantis is very mean to Grasshoppina.Praying and Mantis are mean too. They make Grasshoppina clean, cook, make clothes, and a bunch of other stuff. Grasshoppina was very sad, now she had a whole new family.. Mrs.Prantis finally decides to substitute Mr.Prantis for the King.So the King made new termsfor the kingdom because he had the power to do so. And was going to find his son the prince, a wife.

So they sent out invitations to people all over the kingdom.It turns out that they sent one to grasshoppina instead of Praying or Mantis. So when Grasshoppina was outside getting the mail and saw something was addressed to her, she couldnt believe it.Grasshoppina set the invitation down and went back to cleaning.She forgot to open it.

Later that day Mrs.Prantis  is sitting in the living room when she comes across the invitation and calls down Praying and Mantis. they come down the stairs and Mrs.Prantis says"Girls i think i found your future husband". Mrs.Prantis wanted to expand her wealthieness to more generations.Grasshoppina was walking down the stairs and heard her.But Mrs.Prantis didn’t care and told her that tomorrow night {the night of the ball} she was going to clean the whole house. Grasshoppina was so sad.Grasshoppina was in her room crying and talking to her friends, the mice and cats.

When Praying and Mantis screamed “Grasshoppina we need you to make are dresses NOW!” Grasshoppina went down the stairs that connected the house to her room in the attic, and ran to the girls room.Praying and Mantis were on the floor crying,constantly yelling and screaming.Grasshoppina was to make there dresses as fast as possible and as beautifull as possible.

Im going to simplify the story.So Grasshoppina gets done with the dresses and is now cleaning. Praying,Mantis, and Mrs.Prantis already left for the ball.Grasshoppina works her way down to the kitchen and starts to cry. She wishes that she can go to the ball and find her prince charming. 3seconds later she hears a POOF.And then she sees a fat,sparkly,old grasshopper with a wand. And the old lady says”i am your fairy grasshopper and i am here to make your dreams come true.”

Then Grasshoppina gets up and the fairy grasshopper goes POOF! And Grasshoppina is transformed into a beautiful grasshopper with a sparkling gown and 2 glass wings. Grasshoppina asks the fairy grasshopper hows shes going to get there and with another(carefully distributing the sparks of magic.) POOF!There was a tiny pumpkin growing in the yard now its a gigantic pumkin carriage with 2 praying mantis’s to carry it to the ball.And the mouse is the driver.The fairy grasshopper says to Grasshoppina “Be back by 12 o’clock when the clock  strikes 12 the magic will wef and you’ll be normal again have fun”. 

Grasshoppina hops into he backseat and off the pumpkin carriage goes. It arrives at the ball and Grasshoppina steps out of the car just in time. She walks in and see’s there about to start a dance she decides to join in. The dance starts out switching partners and it turns out Prince Manting is dancing to.They get to the end of the dance and Grasshoppina and Prince Manting are partner. 


Prince Manting thinks that Grashoppina is the prettiest praying mantis in the world. He takes her to the balcony and they talk and then Grasshoppina looks at the clock and sees its almost 12. She says she has to go and runs down the steps loosing one of her glass wings.She runs home just in time for the magic to wear off.

The fairy grasshopper is gone and the carriage with her sisters and mother is pulling in. Grasshoppina ran in and started doing exponents {because it was her homework.}and started dusting the fireplace and yawning like she had been there for hours on end.

And when Mrs.Prantis, and Praying, and Mantis came home no one could tell. The next day Prince Manting comes by with a glass wing. And he says that he’s trying to evaluate every house trying to find the girl that fits into the glass wing and that hes going to marry her.So he tries Prayings wing and it almost breaks the glass. Then he tries Mantises wing and half the wing fits but her foot is to small. And then Prince Manting sees Grasshoppina and asks if she would try on the glass wing. She says okay. So Grasshoppina goes over and Prince Manting puts the glass wing on Grasshoppina and it fits. And they get married and live happily ever after!

Coefficient- A number used to multiply a variable

Algebraic Expression- An expression built up from constants, variables, and coefficients

First you look at the equation and figure out what you're variable terms are, and what you're numeric terms are. Then you rearrange the equation with the variable terms in front and then the numeric terms. Then you combine the variable terms and the numeric terms if you can. You're not trying to get a whole number as an answer you're just trying to simplify the equation.
