My favorite thing about math class is doing projects!

There are 13 grams of sugar in 1 fun-size pack of M&M's. That is about 3 packets of sugar in 1 pack of M&M's. 

Snaily the Superhero!!

      “Robin is injured!” said Batman over the super hero radio. “I need Snaily to substitute  for Robin as my sidekick. Hurry Hurry Hurry!” Snaily jumped off the building and started flying. He was like a tiny superscript next to the building. When people see his red cap in the sky, they know they are safe. Snaily flew as fast as he could to the batcave.  He was like the exponet to the base, Batman. Snaily flies faster and faster and lands in the batcave.
     “Hurry Snaily!” cried batman from  the batmobile. Snaily jumped in and they were off. “ We are headed to a robbery at the school. They landed at Woodlawn. In Mrs. Reulbachs math room, he saw both the teacher and students were very confused. “We can’t figure this out, said Mrs. Resa, Mrs. Reulbachs substitute pointing to the white board. The probleum was 8,000,479 in scientific notation.
      Snaily new how to do the probleum, but Batman didn’t. So, Snaily went to the front of the room and started explaining. “ Any number you see that is in standard form that needs to go into expanded form, can be written very simply if, you write the number you are writing in expanded form in scientific notation instead. It saves you time by limiting the amount of zeros you have to write.” Mrs. Resa took over and continued explaining scientific notation to the 6th grade turnips.
      Just when Snaily and Batman were about to leave, The teacher ran into another probluem. She was trying to explain the definitions of term, coefficant, varieable,and constant. But suddenly, Mrs. Resa forgot how to do the probleums, so snaily stepped in to try and help. “A term is a number or varieable seperated by a plus or minus symbol. Coefficant numbers are numbers in front of varieables and varieables are letters that represents numbers that can change. Constants are numbers that are all alone. Like terms are...” but then Mrs. Resa interupted snaily and said that wasen’t on the plan. But snaily had done his job and saved the turnips from the  robbery of a good math class. So snaily and batman left Woodlawn and  went back to the batcave, to teach Batman how do to 6th grade math.

It is the first book in the 2 series of the Percy Jackson Books.

I got it at Walmart and it was on my desk at home.

The length of The Lost Hero is 8.5in

     The width of the Lost Hero is 5.875in 

The golden rectangles ratio is supposed to be 1.618in. The book The Lost Hero was 1.44in.

How Lauren Spends her time!

This project we graphed what we do on a certain day. My day was Wednesday. We graph what we do ever minute of Wednesday. Then we put the data on a google docs spreadsheet. After that we created a pie chart displaying the information on the spreadsheet. 

I spend my time doing a lot of things. The thing I do the most is sleeping. The percentage is 44.7%. The second biggest thing is school which is 26% of my day. Third is driving time which I spend 7.2% of my day. Fourth is soccer which is 6.3% of my day. Fifth is eating and I spend 4.2% of my day doing that. Sixth is cheer which I spend 4.2% of my day. Seventh is homework which I spend 3.5% of my day. Eighth and ninth I do getting ready and showering. My getting ready  percentage is 2.1% and my showering is 0.5%. My two favorites are Soccer and Cheer!!!

Zoe M and I did a survey. We picked t.v. shows that we liked and asked the middle school (and the 4th and 5th graders) what was there favorite out of these options. Modern Family won by a lot!!
