Welcome to my classroom!

I am so excited to be your teacher this year.  I love mathematics and cannot wait to show you how interesting and FUN it can really be!

Homework

  • I assign homework every night Mon - Thurs, and some Fridays.  If I do not remind you about the homework during class, then please check the wiki as you do have homework each night.
  • Homework should take you about 20 minutes** If you have worked for over 20 minutes, please STOP and send me an email.
  • Remember, no calculator use is permitted unless I specify.
  • If you are having trouble with your homework:
    • Check your GRAPH book for examples.
    • Visit the Concepts Help Page for additional videos, examples, and games.
  • Homework Grade:  30 points per trimester.  Combined homework for each semester will count as one grade (30 points).  You lose 2 points toward this total grade for each homework assignment that you do not complete.  Late homework will receive no credit.  Late or missing homework will need to be completed and turned in, but will not receive credit.

Student Concept Help Pages

These page contains numerous resources to assist you with each topic that we cover throughout the year.  There are online videos, examples, problems, quizzes and even games on the various pages.  Some of the pages are teacher created and some are student created.  If you come across a link that does not work, please email me that that I may fix it.
