Vocabulary Illustration Instructions and Rubric

Instructions

• Cut a piece of paper (with NO lines) in half.  This can be white or colored printer paper, construction paper, card stock,... 
• You will ONLY use one half of the paper.  

At the TOP of the half-paper

1)  ILLUSTRATE your vocabulary word.  Try to make your vocabulary word LOOK like it's definition.  See examples here

At the bottom of the half-paper

2)  DEFINE your assigned vocabulary word.  You can find your word in your book, online, or anywhere else!

3)  EXAMPLE - Give an example of your word.

***  I realize that some words will be more difficult to illustrate than others.  Please just do the best that you can and try to be creative.  : )

You will share your illustrated vocabulary word in class!

The most creative illustrations will be posted in the math room!
