Page history last edited by Julie Reulbach 13 years, 6 months ago

1)  Go to Google Docs at https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AnpqaAgek0pYdFFfYlNXWkZSUklET2kxa1M1OEF1S3c&hl=en#gid=6

2)  Enter your data into the DATA SPORTS, DATA FOOD, or DATA SONG under your name only!  One entry per line.

3)  When you are finished go to the Measurement Data Page and enter your measurements from yesterday if you have not already.

http://mathreuls.pbworks.com/Measurement

When EVERYONE in the class has entered their data:

1)  Click on the FAVORITE SPORT tab at the bottom.  Select DUPLICATE.

2)  Then, click on the duplicated sheet you created and click rename.

3)  Rename your sheet according to your group's assignment and add your math number.  IE.  Favorite Sport Bar 27

4)  Go back to the DATA sheet and count the number of times each sport occurs.  Enter this under FREQUENCY.

5)  When you are finished entering in the data, consult with your partner to make sure they have the same frequencies.

6)  Then, select your items and frequencies by highlighting the areas.  They will be BLUE.

7)  Go to INSERT, CHART and then pick the chart you have been assigned.

8)  Consult with your partner to make sure your charts look the same.

9)  Format the chart to your liking.

10) Present to the class if time permits.

11)  Print out at home.

**  Extra:  Go to Many Eyes to upload your data and make very cool graphs to print out!
